I am happy to announce I’ve added more dates to my fall walking tour schedule.
The New York City 1920s Literary Walk, where we begin and end at the Algonquin Hotel, is now offered every Wednesday at 11:00 AM. This schedule accommodates those that have matinee theater tickets. It will also be held on the weekend of Oct. 15-16 and certain Saturdays and Sundays in November. There will also be walking tours around Thanksgiving.
Because we are counting down the days to the World Series-even though both New York teams have been knocked out-the Babe Ruth Slept Here tour of the Upper West Side will be held on four consecutive Fridays, starting on Oct. 14 and running until Nov. 4. The tour begins at Grant’s Tomb on West 122nd Street.
The newest tour I started offering this year is the East Village Dive Bar History Tour. It begins on East Fourteenth Street and takes groups to three local dive bars. We talk about the history of the neighborhood and the city dive bar culture. It will be most Mondays and Thursday nights beginning at 6 p.m. from October to December.
All tours are open to the public and are approximately two hours in length. Advance booking is required. For a full calendar of walking tours, click here.
