I was lucky to be invited with photographer Joe Conzo, Jr, to CBS New York Sunday Morning on June 23 to talk about our new book 111 Places in The Bronx That You Must Not Miss. We had a really nice chat with anchors Andrea Grymes and Cindy Hsu, who obviously read the book in advance and new what to ask. Andrea formerly worked in The Bronx, so she was an expert. Among the places we talked about were St. Lucy’s and the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto, La Case Grande Cigars, the Battle of Westchester Creek, the home of “Batman” writer Bill Finger on the Grand Concourse, and Crotona Park breakdancers. It was really relaxed on the set and was good way for us to chat about the new book to wide audience.
