In what came as a surprise to me, a paperback edition of The Algonquin Round Table New York: A Historical Guide (2015) has been published by Lyons Press. The hardcover vanished last year (which was the centennial of the Round Table launch, unfortunately) and this paperback takes its place. It is all the same content as the 2015, just in paperback. It remains 274 pages and is priced at $16.95 in the USA. It is also available as an e-book. I spoke to an editor at the publishing house because I would like to have the opportunity to update the book (it’s been five years) with a second edition. We shall see. Thanks for all the support over the years of this book, particularly to my friend, Anthony Melchiorri, who wrote the foreword. You can get the book at any bookstore (if any are open in your town) to order it for you. It’s also available here from all online retailers, and signed copies from my stash.
